Priscilla Alexander, founded Protravel International in 1984, and quickly built it into one of the largest travel-agencies in the U.S., with 22 offices around the U.S. and England with over 800 employees. She was the first Premium Member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) as well as a member of ASTA’s Corporate Advisory Council. With roughly $900 million in annual sales, Protravel was sold in 2014. Over the years, Alexander has served on nearly every advisory board established for the retail travel industry and is recognized by Travel + Leisure magazine in its A-List issue. In 2008, she was listed among Forbes “25 Most Influential Women in Travel.” She received a Travel Weekly Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009 and the Virtuoso Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014.
François Delahaye, COO (Chief Operating Officer) for Dorchester Collection, a portfolio of the top luxury hotels globally in Europe and in the U.S. that reflects the different cultures of the destinations where they are located. François is also the general manager of Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris and was awarded the “Manager of the Year 2013” award by the European Hotel Managers Association, and was named “Hotelier of the Year” by Virtuoso for his successful career in the luxury hotel business. François has more than 30 years of experience as a hotelier and is known for his sensitivity to staff and his commitment to clients. A native of France and a graduate at the Ecole Supérieure d’Hôtellerie at Saint Cergue in Switzerland, as well as the City Community College in New York. Delahaye was a former butler for the Duke of Westminster. Throughout his remarkable career, he has won many international awards as a celebrated hotelier, but it is the appreciation of the staff that means much more to him.
Carolyn Kremins, recognized media executive and branding expert. She combines business building brand strategy with methodical execution around incubator brands, such as Skift, Maxim, The Week, Cookie, and helps to reimagine venerable brands, like Brides, Conde Nast Traveler, Epicurious, and more. Kremins currently serves as President of Skift, the leading travel media authority focused on defining the future of travel: Airlines, hotels, destinations, cruises, startups, technology, and much more. Since her arrival in 2016 she has expanded Skift’s global footprint into Europe. Kremins was recognized with many industry awards including Advertising Age’s “Launch of the Year” and five brands under Ms. Kremins’ direction that have earned a place on Adweek’s ‘prestigious Hot List’, a feat accomplished by no other publisher. She was recognized as “Team Leader of the Year” by MIN (Media Industry Newsletter), named one of Folio’s “40 Industry Innovators with Impact”.
Adriana Cavalcanti, Advisory board President, WTM Latin America. During the latest 27 years, Ms. Cavalcanti’s career path and life history have been intertwined with the history of Air France and later that of KLM, in their Brazilian operations. She started as check-in agent for Air France at Recife International Airport and closed this phase of her life as AF-KLM Country Manager in São Paulo.
A life journey full of achievements and learning that is currently focused on WTM Latin America (World Travel Market), one of the most renowned global tourism trade fairs that take place annually with the objective of promoting global growth and development of the travel industry.
