Nancy Novogrod

Nancy Novogrod, after working as the Editor in Chief of Travel + Leisure magazine for over two decades, Nancy “switched to the other side” a couple of years ago, curating trips for private clients through her new venture, Culturati Travel Design, an affiliate of the top-ranked luxury travel advisory service Local Foreigner.
Her deep knowledge of destinations allows her to create access-rich one-of-a-kind trips. Her career at Travel + Leisure started in 1993, when she took over the Editor in Chief role, overseeing the magazine’s ascent to the top U.S. and global travel publication in circulation and introducing five international editions, as well as T+L’s powerful online presence.   In recognition of her achievements at Travel + Leisure, Nancy was inducted into the U.S. Travel Association’s Hall of Leaders in November 2019, the first editor to be accorded this honor. She is also a Trustee of the American Academy in Rome, having also served as a Trustee of the Mount Holyoke College, as well as on the Boards of The New York Botanical Garden and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Danilo Cerqueira, the CEO at TempoVip, a boutique DMC specialized in the luxury segment and a benchmark for the tourism industry in Mexico and South America – and soon in the US as well. Despite being born in Brazil, Danilo chose Portugal as his home and there, in 2004, founded his own company which is specialized in providing customized experiences to customers wishing to explore Portugal. He is proactive, curious, and continuous leaner. Marketing, communication, and people’s relations are his areas of expertise and a true passion of his. “I believe they are a powerful tool to make a difference in the world around us”, he said.

Ted Teng

Ted Teng, a former CEO at Leading Hotels of the World, a post which he held for a decade. During his term, which started in 2008, Teng introduced a business plan to recover the core foundations of the 90-year-old brand. He reinvented and raised the quality indicators, focusing on the consumer’s wishes rather than focusing only on the products, thereby increasing the level of client satisfaction, also generating unprecedented increases in income, surpassing USD 1 billion for the first time in the company’s history. Prior to joining LHW, Teng led the growth of some of the world’s most prominent hotel brands, serving as President, Chief Operating Officer of Wyndham International and President, Asia-Pacific, for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

Prior to founding ALTOUR, Mr. Chemla served as a consultant for a variety of airlines and hotel companies, including Hyatt Corporation and Disney Enterprises. Currently, he is a member of the French American Chamber of Commerce, the French Institute Alliance Française, is one of the French consultants and serves the board of the French-American Aid for Children organization.  He has been awarded a French Tourism Office Gold Medal for Tourism and he is a member of the ARC Advisory Board and a consultant on multiple airline advisory boards. An entrepreneur at heart, and actively involved in arts and culture, Alexandre was a co-founder of the Hampton Film Festival.

Between 2004 and 2011, he was the Director at Michelin Guides, the producers of the most respected tour guidebooks in the world and known for highlighting the best restaurants. While at the helm at Michelin Guides, he published a new edition for European cities, developed a collection for the US (New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Chicago), launched the first edition of the Guide for Tokyo, developed the first edition for Hong Kong and Macao, and created the first Michelin “Étoile” magazine.
